The production of the brand-new Acrostar mk2 XL has been finished and the container with the planes is on the way to Germany to Hacker Motor.

Athletes ceremony of Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart
I followed the invitation from the secretary of state Baden-Württemberg, Volker Schebesta, to the new castle of Stuttgart on 11th of November. Sportswomen and sportsmen from more than 500 various sports classes were invited. All who achieved a podium ranking in 2018/2019 season in European or World Championships. My invitation was for the bronce medal on the 2018 European F3A Championship in Belgium.
In the white room of the castle the ceremony for athletics, bikers, boatmen… and aeromodellers too part! Besides me was one more rc-pilot. Marcus Haussmann, reigning F4H World Champion (scale class). I was happy to meet one more like-minded so we shared the experience together.
In small groups we went on stage to receive the gift from the president of the sports committee Baden-Württemberg, Mrs Menzer-Haasis.
After the official part during snacks we had the chance to meet and talk to more interesting people and exchange our experiences in our sport and events.
I was very pleased about this honor and want to thank the state of Baden-Württemberg for the event!
RT DESIGN duplex DC-24K
It all started when I was a boy with the Graupner MC-24 gold from my father. I thought it´s a cool and beautiful radio. That time I already knew I want such a transmitter someday!
Almost 15 years later I hold a JETI duplex DC-24 in my hands, with almost each part and switch 24-carat gilded. Probably the worlds one and only DC-24 with such a finishing. The name: DC-24K.

But until I had it in my hands, it was a very long way. It took more than one year until the radio was completely finish. I think with the gold color it describes the quality and valence of this product best.
"Before gilding all aluminum parts, they have to be polished to a high level gloss and after that galvanic nickel-plated. The quality of the aluminum polish is decisive for the final result. Finally the galvanic 24 carat gold plating takes place."
Only with the support of good friends we could realize this exclusive unique masterpiece.

F3A WC 2019 in Italy

First WorldCup of the season in Portugal
On the 25th and 26th of May was the first F3A WorldCup from the 2019 season in Leiria, Portugal. It´s around 130 km north from Lisbon close to the Atlantic.
From our club was not only myself attending this event, also Daniel Setzer who come back to F3A competitions after almost 20 years.
On Thursday we flew with our team from Frankfurt to Lisbon. All except me started 6 A.M. with Ryanair. My flight was around 2h later with Lufthansa, because I took the big box with the 2 airplanes inside.
Arrived in the hotel, we assembled the planes and took the rental cars to explore the area around. For the dinner we found an excellent restaurant directly on the Atlantic, recommended by Rui Ferrera. So the first day was a real success !
Friday was very windy but a perfect day for practice. The competition started Saturday morning.
There were 21 Pilots from Spain, Portugal, Israel, Germany and Brazil. Peter Uhlig was part of the Judging team together with 2 Spanish and 2 Portuguese judges. Roland Podevin from France was there to run his Notaumatic calculating programe which worked fast and excellent.
Daniel flew very well on saturday and ended up this day at 11th. On sunday he went back one position and finished the competition with a fantastic 12th place.
For me it was a tough battle with Juan Rombaut for the win. Saturday I was very close in pole position, after the finals we changed the positions and he won, I became second. 3rd place was 14-year old very talented Yuval Ben Israel from Israel.
It was also great, that my friend and boss of CM-Jets (one of our partners) Carlos Marquez visit us there and spend one evening with us!
At the end it was a very valuable weekend with a lot of fun, nice people, perfect weather and superb food in nice community! We would really like to come back next year!
A special thank you goes to Filipe Dinis Bernardino for driving my box from the airport to the hotel, the support there and the organization of this nice competition!
MULTIPLEX Airshow 2019
At the weekend from 18th and 19th of May was the MULTIPLEX Airshow which took place for the 4th time at the airfield of Bruchsal.
This time it was my first attendance in this event. Even I´m not a MULTIPLEX teampilot they invited me as a “friend of the house MULTIPLEX” and received me with great hospitality.
In the airshow I was flying Pilatus PC-21 and my electric GeeBee and also MULTIPLEX airplanes for dropping candies for childrens.
It was a well-mixed flight program with hundreds of highlights from the rc-scene and entertainingly and divertingly commented by Bernd Beschorner, Manfred Greve, Uwe Grenda and Lukas Nakir.
It was one of the best airshows ever!
Perfect organization, fantastic people, good weather and many exciting small talks.

FMT-Adler-Wahl 2019

20 years Hacker Motor GmbH
On saturday, 23rd of March, Mr. Hacker invited to his 20-year-jubilee of Hacker Motor in Ergolding.
A great event with famous guests, interesting guids through the company and an exhibition of their projects in RC-business and industry made this day to one of the highlights in 2019.
Even the weather was perfect with a deep blue sky and warm temperatures, maybe also a merit of the past 20 years.
What started in the loft of his families´ house is nowadays a mid-sized company with almost 40 employees and projects around the world.
For more than 10 years I am Pilot for Hacker Motor. Since my beginning I trusted in the products from Bavaria. When I look back, that was probably my best decision I made in my rc-career. I am more than proud to be part of this team since that long time.
For some time Hacker Motor is also the exclusive distributor in Europe for my RT DESIGN models- nothing better could happen to me!
At this jubilee last week we took the chance to introduce my latest design coming this summer the market: Acrostar mk2 XL – the big brother of our 6S successor came to the market last year.

After the huge success with RT ULTRAmate EPP in the past year I really wanted to present a colorscheme for this foamy which means so much to me and is part of my aeromodelling story!
We realized the scheme of my legendary 2,85m Ultimate, which I flew many years on airshow with great fun and good promotion for myself.

Robin Trumpp zu Gast bei Scheich Hamdan, Kronprinz von Dubai
Vom 23. bis 26. Februar fanden die ersten Dubai RC Masters im Wüstenemirat Dubai am Persischen Golf statt. Unter den vielen Piloten und Verantwortlichen auch ein Deutscher, Robin Trumpp vom MFC Untermünkheim.
Nicht nur in Europa, Asien und Australien ist sein Wissen und seine Erfahrung gefragt. Tareq Alsaadi, einer der besten Helikopterpiloten der Welt und Freund des Kronprinzen, wollte das Knowhow von Robin Trumpp beim ersten Modellflug-Wettbewerb überhaupt in Dubai, dabeihaben. Hier nicht als teilnehmender Pilot, sondern vielmehr als Juror für faire Meisterschaften der Golfstaaten – mit Piloten aus Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabien u.a.
Schnell wurde im Vorfeld der Masters klar, dass das Event noch keine optimale Organisation aufwies. Kurzerhand wurde Robin Trumpp die sportliche Leitung des Events übertragen, dass unter der Schirmherrschaft von Kronprinz Scheich Hamdan bin Muhammad Al Maktum, der zugleich auch Vorsitzender des Dubai Sportrats ist, stattfand. Trumpp war also für die Klassen Jet- und Propellerkunstflug zuständig.
Die Helikopter-Kunstflug-Klasse, die gleichzeitig mit ausgetragen wurde, war sogar international ausgeschrieben, so dass sich die besten Helipiloten der Welt messen konnten.
Für alle Klassen wurde insgesamt ein Preisgeld von knapp 30.000 USD ausgeschüttet.
Neben Robin Trumpp war zusätzlich der Spanier Emilio Canovas als Juror eingeladen. Jedoch mit nur zwei Wertern kann ein solches Event nicht ausgetragen werden, was den Veranstaltern wohl nicht bekannt war. Glücklicherweise war F3A-Weltmeister, Tetsuo Onda aus Japan, als Helfer eines Helipiloten vor Ort. Schnell konnte er nach einem kurzen Gespräch mit Trumpp als 3. Jurymitglied für den Wettbewerb verpflichtet werden. Damit konnten das Event gestartet werden.
Am Samstag fand eine große Eröffnungsfeier statt, bei der auch Scheich Hamdan anwesend war, er begrüßte alle Teilnehmer und Anwesende.
Am Sonntag und Montag wurden die Vorrunden ausgetragen; morgens die Helikopter, mittags die Propellerflugzeuge und anschließend die Jets. Auch hier zeigte sich, dass noch etwas Organisationstalent einzubringen war, denn es gab kein Auswertungsprogramm für die Wettbewerbe. Zum Glück konnte Robin Trumpp nach den Wertungsflügen ein Excel-Auswertungsprogramm erstellen, damit auch eine Rangliste veröffentlicht werden konnte. Die jeweils 5 besten Piloten einer Klasse qualifizierten sich für das Finale.
Am Dienstagabend ging das Event bei einer schönen Abschlussfeier mit einer tollen und beeindruckenden Drohnen-Show zu Ende. Und schon am nächsten Tag ging Trumpp´s Flug mit einem A380 wieder zurück nach Frankfurt. Bilder und Eindrücke von der Reise gibt es auf der Website von Trumpp: www.robin-trumpp.de
Ein Statement von Robin Trumpp zum Event: „Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit in Dubai, bei herrlichem Wetter, mit jeder Menge Spaß. Es ist schön zu sehen und zu erleben, dass Gemeinschaft und der besondere Spirit unter Modellfliegern weltweit gleichermaßen gelebt wird, egal wo man sich gerade befindet. Auch oder gerade in Dubai, wo es so scheint, als ob Geld keine Grenzen mehr setzen könnte. Ich komme aus Dubai zurück, mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen und Begegnungen mit wunderbaren Menschen, die mein Hobby teilen, die mich mit offenen Armen empfangen haben und die mir zu guten Freunden wurden.“
